How Yia Mas Kitchen & Events Began
Food has always been at the heart of our relationship. Sharing meals, cooking together, and experiencing different flavours is what brings us joy. So, in 2022, we decided to turn that passion into something bigger—creating Yia Mas Kitchen & Events to share that love of food with others.
John is an experienced and creative chef, currently head chef at one of Penrith’s most popular cafes. His expertise in crafting flavourful, high-quality dishes ensures every event we cater is unforgettable. Christina, a high school history teacher in the Blue Mountains, brings her love for organisation, hospitality, and people to ensure every event runs smoothly.
Together, we’ve built a catering service that’s more than just food—it’s about creating stress-free, memorable experiences where people can simply enjoy good company and great flavours.
